I have been to the Gigabyte site looking for a download and after putting in that I have a Graphics card and that it is GTX 970 it asks for a model number. The 'serial#' is manufacturer specific and can only be read via the label on the backside of the card. GPU 'ID' however; can be obtained using GPU-Z. But for inventory sake the ID of the card will not do you any good if you have multiples of the same unit.
